 NZ Kawa Kawa: Kawakawa is a New Zealand native herb it is known as the “Pharmacy of the Forest”. It is a significant and sacred plant to Maori. Among its many healing properties, its used to soothe skin wounds, eczema, cuts, cracked skin, burns, bruising, rashes, insect bites and stings & more. We are continually surprised at the wide range of problems that Kawakawa seems to be able to remedy

Cocoa Butter: This is a favorite for healing skin, and it works well on scars, stretch marks, burns, and dry, itchy skin.

Shea Butter: Both an anti-inflammatory and an antimicrobial, Shea butter is used to treat extremely dry skin, burns, scars, psoriasis, eczema, and stretch marks.

Beeswax: Great when used as a thickener in recipes, beeswax is an emollient and softens the skin.

 

Coconut Oil: Exceptional oil for dry, itchy, or sensitive skin. It won’t clog pores and it absorbs readily into the skin, locking in moisture.

 

Calendula: Great medicinal Oil has long history in both the skin care recipes and wound care ointments. Rich in antioxidants, great for treating dry and damaged skin, skin inflammations, burns, rashes, and other skin disorders.

 

Tamanu Oil: One of the most potent oils for healing, the amazing chemistry of this oil gives it such a unique healing and rejuvenating effect.

 

Olive Oil: Olive oil contains 3 major antioxidants helps restore skins smoothness and free radical damage to skin.

 

Avocado Oil: High in Vit E helps with skin inflammations, itchiness and helps to sooth the skin helping with inflammation.

 

Argan Oil: An antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory, this oil reduces swelling, soothes irritated skin, nourishes and has great antiaging properties.

 

Jojoba Oil: Jojoba is great oil for any skin type or hair type. Close to our own natural oils, jojoba doesn’t leave skin oily and absorbs quickly. Its regenerating and firming and helps prevent wrinkles.

 

Sunflower Oil: Rich in both antioxidants and essential fatty acids, sunflower oil has a light texture, absorbs easily into the skin, and is soothing and softening.

 

Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant that can penetrate through layers of skin, assisting the body with natural wound healing process, lubricates the skin and forms a protective layer, vitamin E also promotes collagen production which helps keep the skin young and supple looking.

 

Hemp Seed Oil: Hemp seed oil is known for particularly high levels Omega-6 (50-60%) and Omega-3 (15-20%). Both Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids are called Essential Fatty Acids. Although essential for our healthy functioning, these acids cannot produce by our bodies, Therefore, we must receive enough of them from our diet. Hemp oil can prevent moisture loss in the skin and help prevent premature aging, and is effective in maintaining moisture balance. It can also be useful in alleviating certain skin conditions such as eczema, acne and psoriasis.

 

Tea Tree Oil: Fungus fighter, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory.

 

Bergamot Orange and Lemon Extracts: With have natural antimicrobial properties to help disinfect and sanitize new tattoos, helping to keep the area clean from harmful germs and bacteria that can cause infections.

Lavender Oil: Soothing, lavender also has a decent SPF, which will help protect new tattoos from sun damage.But try your best to stay out of the sun anyway, because the sun can leech the color right out of a fresh tattoo
